How To
Choose An Agent
Selling your home is one of the most important
decisions you'll make in your life. One of the key parts of that
decision is who to use as your REALTOR®.
There are three main keys to identifying the quality agent who is
right for you.
Rapport Do you feel
a connection with the agent? Do you feel comfortable talking with
her? Do you get the sense he's being honest with you? Rapport is
critical, because if things get difficult, as they sometimes do in
today's buyers market, the two of you must be comfortable talking
things through. Just as in any long-term relationship, what makes it
work is the good rapport that accompanies effective communication.
Personal Marketing
How does the agent represent himself through his marketing materials
and the other ways he presents himself? A quality agent will care
enough to have high-quality marketing materials because he
understands the value of marketing and the importance of his
material reflecting who he is as a person.
An agent who does not market
himself effectively is not likely to market your home effectively.
A
REALTOR®
who has a well developed marketing plan.
A house in today's market needs
to be sold two times - once to the other agents (who then sell it to
their prospective buyers) and once to the buying public
